JYOTISHMATI – CELASTRUS PANNICULATA
The seed oil of this shrub contains several terpenoids like paniculatadiol, b-sitosterol, celastrol, b-amyrin, pristimerin, and other ingredients like sesquiterpenoids, dihydroagarofuran-type polyols or esters which not only have antioxidant and anti-arthritic properties but also has been proven as a memory booster.
Winter Melon – KUSHMANDA – BENINCASA HISPIDA
Belonging to Cucurbitaceae family, the climbing herb is mainly grown in India as a vegetable. It contains photochemical like alkaloids, flavonoids, and saponins.
